This Is No Joke - 9/29/21

Well…. I am 2dpo Revision surgery and fat grafting and can say this is no joke! The pain from the donor sites is pretty significant and more burning than anything. I was taking Percoset yesterday but we’re trying our Extra Strength Tylenol and Motrin cocktail to see what that does for me. The sooner I can stop the heavy pain meds the better. I have drains (I on each side). I was able to sleep in bed last night with my wedge pillow and have yet to look at things because it hurts to move things and release the pressure that is currently keeping the swelling down. I can see some bruising on my hips/back below the binder and it’s crazy looking!

My Plastic Surgeon said he was pleased with how the procedure went even though it took longer than he expected and I ended up staying overnight to get my pain under control. We follow up with him next week and hopefully have the drains removed.

For now, I’m hanging in our recliner and moving around periodically to help from not getting to stiff and keeping blood clots from forming.
