Surgery Day & Our Wedding Anniversary - 8/13/20

We are confirmed for my surgery on Monday, August 31st which is also our 18th wedding anniversary (28 years together). Not how I thought we'd be spending our wedding anniversary but as I've been telling people lately, what in 2020 IS going as expected??? Not much so I guess it's just par for the course.

Surgery is scheduled for 9am and is supposed to last approx 6 hours depending on a number of different variables. I will be in the hospital for the night and home on Tuesday.

So now we wait to find out when my COVID test/quarantine period is and I start planning for coverage at work for a little bit while I'm out of commission.
