My View Since Tuesday - 9/5/20

his has been my view for the last 4 days but our recliner got me through my shoulder surgery 5 years ago and it’s helping again now. Feeling a little better today after A LOT of sleeping yesterday but am still dealing with the discomfort of my incisions, drains and whatever else is going on with my chest (no I have not looked at it yet; I’m not quite ready to). My appetite is coming back and we got the best sleep last night that we’ve had since before my surgery. I was able to go until a little after 4am before needing any medicine. I’m still needing to sleep with ice at the base of my head but the chiropractor told Tim that will help with the headaches I’ve been having. They are getting better but seem to be worse at night than during the day.

Thank you again for the cards etc they continue to come every day. I told some friends on a Mom’s board that I have been a part of since before Jack was born that we don’t have a big group of close friends like most people we know but the love and support that we have received from people since sharing my diagnosis and this week has been overwhelming and very touching. My “wall of love” continues to grow!
