Moving Forward - 10/27/20

I am happy to say that my reconstruction surgery (the exchange from my tissue expanders to the implants) has been scheduled for 11/23. My goal has been to have as much of this journey behind me at the end of 2020 so that Tim, the boys, and I can all start 2021 on a fresh new page and hopefully never look back. Yes, I will have to continue taking the Tamoxifen, have follow-up visits with the plastic surgeon, breast surgeon, and my OB, etc. but those will be little stops along the path and the big hills will hopefully continue to stay behind us.

We continue to be so thankful and grateful for all of your prayers, good thoughts, amazing meals, help with our boys, and just the number of people rallying behind us through all of this. It has truly touched all of us and shown our boys that the saying “no one fights this fight alone” is true because they have seen it themselves how many people truly care about us.
